Okay so Laci was right, I shouldn't have laughed at Bailey :) So, here is another video. She is actually getting really good. She's only been doing it for about a month, so I was really proud of her yesterday. Dallas Cowboys here we come (maybe not)! Hopefully I will updated with pictures of Madison and Brock soon. Maddie is turning 1 in a week and is taking 5-6 steps. She is into everything but is also my sensitive one. Brock is hard at work with school. He is learning how to use a laptop and we have ordered him a new big boy bed. He is VERY excited.

Here are some random pictures that I have taken over the past month. It has been a very active month. Bailey's Tball team made the state tournament, Madison's has learned to crawl and pull up on everything and we are taking the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge next week. Brock is having a nice summer break away from all of the school and therapist stuff, but I think he's going to be excited to get back to work.

We just got back from Branson, MO and all 15 of us had a blast. Here are a few pictures from our trip that I promised. Putt-putt was Brocks favorite thing to do. We only got to go twice, but every morning he would wake up and ask to go. We are now at home and he is still asking to go.

Butterflies

Bailey has always loved butterflies, so we had to go to the Butterfly Palace for a second time. She has so much fun trying to get the butterflies to land on her. Cameron was hilarious, she wasn't sure about the butterflies and for some reason they kept landing on top of her head, she would swat them off in an instant. Mind you "you're not supposed to touch the wings of the butterflies". Try telling that to 5 children ages 6 and under. Well Bailey got her wish and persuaded some to land on her.

Summer Fun!!!

Here are a few random pictures from the vacation. We cannot wait to go back, maybe even at Christmas time. For anyone who has never been, I highly recommend going. The shows are clean family fun and there are tons of activities for everyone.

Baileys' favorite thing was playing in the jacuzzi tube at the Lodge.

Bailey is not a big fan of rides. Here she is riding the Kiddie Train. By the last day I finally convinced her to ride the go carts and she loved them, of course it was time to go home.

Grandad and Kitty got a lot of bonding time with Madison. They spoiled her and she loved every minute.

Busy Busy

I haven't forgot about the blog, we've just been extra busy. Brock had to go to the ER this week with 105.7 temp. They said it was just a virus and it was going to have to "run its course". Bailey is getting near the end of Tball and have only lost 3 games so far. She is loving it. She plays first base and has improved alot since last year. Maddie has started army crawling everywhere, and goes from the living room to Baileys room because she can see her in there playing.

We are also trying to get ready to go on a 6 day vacation with 15 people to Branson, MO. So, hopefully when we get back and get settled down I will post pictures!!!

It's Summer Time!

It's almost summer time and we are excited. T-ball is in full swing, there are 10 days left of school and I am already trying to get things gathered for our vacation. We are going to Branson, MO in June with my family.....15 people to be exact. We probably won't even be able to look at each other when we get home. Just kidding, we'll have a blast. Well, Madison is 7 months old now, Bailey just turned six and Brock turned 4 in April. We are partied out!!! Madison is trying to get on all fours, but can't quit get the hang of it. Her little personality is laid back until mama walks out of the room. You could say I have spoiled her a little bit. She is the last and I am enjoying every minute of her. I will try to get some pictures posted of Baileys party. There were 16 kids at Build-a-Bear.

Jackson and Madison are cute together. We call Jackson a big teddy bear, he is so lovable. As you can tell, Madison isn't as excited about the loving.

Today was the Kindergarten Stick Horse Rodeo. They each made their own stick horse for the rodeo. They had the Grand Entry, petting zoo, chase the clown, roping, bull riding and barrel racing. The kids had a blast and were exhausted after it was over.

I have come to realized that Bailey got more than just her looks from me. She also got my running ability and sense of fashion. A week ago she fell flat on her face just running down the sidewalk and ended up looking like this...

And,

this past Sunday, we were supposed to go to Sarah Musselmans' shower, but didn't have anyone to stay with Brock while we went. Once Bailey realized my mom and sister were going without us, she quickly ran to the bathroom and proceeded to "make her hair look nice for the shower". This was the outcome!!! Yes, she is also wearing a Minnie Mouse dress.

The next day we took the kids to the San Antonio Zoo. Brock enjoyed the Zoo more than Sea World. Now I can't wait to take him to the Ft. Worth Zoo.

Sea World

We took a weekend trip to Sea World for Brocks birthday. The weather was great and everyone had a good time.

Brock was NOT going to touch the dolphins. He has a sensory issue, and any different texture makes him gag. We asked him if he wanted to feed the dolphins and he wanted no part of it. He was content watching his sister.

Bailey was so excited that she got to touch the dolphins. One dolphin even let her touch him without having any food.

At 3:45 am this morning I got the delivery of my dreams. Next to my wedding day and the birth of my children, this was one of the most memorable days of my life. I stood outside and waited for the truck to come around the corner with my 1968 Ford Mustang. Yes, it is Sunlit Gold! I thought after seeing pictures I would want to change the color, but after seeing it in person I think it will stay. I love classic cars, and have always wanted one to cruise around town.

New Glasses

Brock had eye surgery last March to correct his eyes. They had started crossing and the doctor said eventually his brain would just quit using one eye. The surgery was a success, but his eyes were a little over-corrected so we had to start patching. He HATED patching his eyes and would cover his face when we would mention the eye patch. This week he got his glasses. His vision is good, but we are hoping that the glasses will keep his eyes from turning out to far, preventing another surgery. He is very proud of his glasses and will ask for them when he wakes up the in morning.

Here are a few pictures I have taken in the past month. We have been very busy. We got Bailey a new yorkie named Alvin. She is at home today with fever and strep throat. Madison is getting a little personality and has learned to play in her ultra saucer. Brock is going tomorrow to get his new glasses and keeps getting fluid in his ear. A new set of tubes may be in our future.

Madison is now 4 months old. She loves her cereal and started veggies 2 days ago. She makes horrible faces with peas. I can't wait to see how she reacts to the other vegetables. She still smiles a lot, which kind of scares me to think about the terrible twos. She has now lost a patch of hair in the back of her head that I try to cover up by combing the longer hair over it. I guess you could call it a comb over. I will try to update with some more pictures of Bailey and Brock later on.

Dreyer Family Christmas

We always spend Christmas day at Womack Hall. It's a building outside of our town that is mostly used for dances. We use it to accommodate our constantly expanding family. I think we have around 44-45 people now. Too many people for my grandparents house to hold.

This is a picture of my grandparents, Grandad and Kitty Dreyer with their great-grandkids. There is still one grandkid missing in this picture (they are all 7 years old and younger).

Every year my Grandad, a retired cabinet maker, will make the great-grandkids something. In the past we have had reindeer, pull along trains, ride-on cars, and walking stilts. This was the year of a stick horse on wheels. The kids had a blast, especially Brock. Uncle Eugene got plenty of exercise pushing and chasing the other kids with Brocks horse and buggy (wheelchair). It was great fun until Bailey somehow broke the head off of her horse. Thankfully, Grandad was at our house by 10 o'clock this morning with a brand new horse!!!

6 days of Christmas

We have officially celebrated 6 days of Christmas. The kids got way to many toys. Although they seemed to loved every minute of it, I found myself wondering where in the world I was going to put everything.

Baileys' "new thing" is collecting as many Littlest Pet Shops as possible. For anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about, you're lucky! They are cute little animals that come with the smallest pieces in the world. It is also impossible to collect them all, although Bailey is doing a good job of trying. I think she is up to about 115 animals. The art table that Santa brought her immediately turned into a "Littlest Pet Shop Table". I shouldn't complain, it's better than the floor.

Brock has played with his daddy's iPhone so much that he has managed to master every part of it. He has figured out how to unlock, scroll, find the iPod, e-mail people, find and take pictures, call people and turn the airport mode back off. This isn't just a fluke, if you ask him to find something, he will go straight to the icon and find what you ask for. Because of this, we decided to get Brock his own iTouch for Christmas. Now he has his own with Wiggles and Spongebob movies and music. He has played with it for hours since he has opened it. If we try to give him another toy he will cry and ask for his phone.

Madison was too little to enjoy much, but she gave me the greatest gift for Christmas. She giggled out loud for the first time today. I love her little voice. She loves to coo and smile, especially when she wakes up and 3 in the morning. It's a great way to start the day!!!

Here are some pictures from the Radde Tree Christmas Farm that Baileys class went to. They had so much fun picking out a tree for their classroom. The entire class actually agreed on a tree without an argument. Each kid got one chance to try and cut down the tree.

Busy Month

Today Bailey was an angel in the church Christmas program. She did a great job remembering her 5 lines and singing "O Christmas Tree" with the other angels. She also hit the microphone with her wings every time she turned around on stage!!!

On Friday, Brock went to get fitted for a back brace and AFOs for his legs. Hopefully the braces will prolong any surgeries for a little while. To get the best fitting braces, he had to get cast made of his legs and feet, and a cast from his waist to under his arms. I was really surprised he didn't get upset during the entire 2 hour process. He used his sunglasses to protect his eyes from the plaster.

Bailey loves being a big sister to Madison, but if I turned my back for 2 seconds she picks her up and puts her on her shoulder.

Today we took Madison's two month pictures. I can't believe how time flies.

About Madison:

* She smiles a lot.

* She has found her voice.

* She is not fond of baths.

* She loves for Bailey to hold her in the mornings.

* She wants mommy to hold her when she's tired.

She has also started sleeping through the night. After her 10:30pm feed she sleeps until 7am as long as you swaddle her. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when she out grows her swaddle blanket.

Typical Boy!

Even though Brock has his limitations he can still be a typical boy. He swings at Bailey and Cameron when they take his toys off his tray, he cries when he doesn't get his way, and he opens drawers that he's not supposed to. He doesn't get to very often, but when we come home from doctors appointments or taking him to Waco, Brock loves to go to the kitchen and play in my cabinets.

We spent the end of last week in the hospital with Madison. Wednesday afternoon I noticed her forehead felt a little warm. I took her temp and she was 100.8. I called the on-call nurse and they advised me that anything over 100.4 should be seen by a doctor because of her age. Of course, it was after 5pm, so I packed my bags for the ER. After getting a urine sample, blood samples, three failed attempts at starting an IV in the arm and then starting the IV in the head, 2 attempts at a spinal tap, and a chest x-ray we found ourselves being admitted into the hospital. Madison was not a happy camper and worn out from screaming. I have been through all of this with Brock, but it was still hard to watch. I was questioning if I should have brought her in at all. After spending the next 48 hours in a small, cramped room we finally got to go home. All cultures and x-rays came back clear and the doctor assumed it was just a cold.

Madison is finally here! She was born at 7:50 am this morning weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long! She is has dark hair just like the rest of the bunch!!! She is cute as a button!!! Her, mom, and dad are doing great and big sister Bailey and big brother Brock are so proud of her!!!

Here is the last look at our little Madison before she makes her arrival. As you can see, she is running out of room. Her knees are up in her face. They think she is already 6lbs 6 ozs and I still have 3 weeks left. I think she already looks a little like Bailey and the ultrasound tech said she could see a bunch of hair already. October 8th is the day, hopefully she will wait that long. I will update after she gets here.
